For the production of ACSR for non-insulated steel-aluminium and steel-bronze conductors
Galvanized steel wire used as the core (catenary wire) in ACSR (Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced) overhead power lines. Zinc coating provides corrosion resistance for long-term outdoor exposure.
